Hi everyone! Welcome to another episode of the Spiritual Alien Podcast.

Before I get started, I wanted to thank you so much for being here with me for the past year, for your support, for listening to the podcast, for sharing it with others, for your feedback and for your existence. Since this is the final episode of the year and of the decade, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year and new decade. May this huge new beginning bring you all of the opportunities that you have been waiting for and fighting for, may it bring you health, love, peace and prosperity so that you may continue to grab life by the balls and create your dream life.

So, to conclude this series to help you Get Your Shit Together and bring it to a proper end, this final episode is about 3 simple rituals to welcome in the New Year and new decade. The previous episode was way too long and intense, at least for me, so this time I want to keep it super simple and super easy for you to digest.

At the end of every year, many people from many cultures around the world do rituals to cleanse themselves from past negativity and to bring abundance, health, and love into their lives in the New Year. The 3 simple rituals that I will share with you tonight are all meant to help you purge and cleanse yourself from all the negativity from 2019 and to help you bring in what you desire in 2020.

The year of 2019 was really heavy, dark and problematic for a lot of people, myself included, so you might relate as well, and if you do then this episode is for you. If you are a seasoned and wealthy witch then this episode is not for you as we will not be using objects and ingredients that are unaffordable or even hard to get, like the tears of a virgin. Wait a second, that would be me. Anyways! Without further ado, let’s get started.

One, the egg cleanse.

This is traditional in Puerto Rico and probably in other countries as well. If you are a vegan, I know what you are thinking. So you may replace the egg for a lemon. Regardless of which one you use, the process is the same. Light a tealight candle and set your intentions. You will take your egg or lemon in your hands, you will either pray over it or explain to it why you are requesting its help and set your intentions. Visualize all the negativity, toxicity, drama and so on, leaving your body and exiting through your hands and into the egg or lemon. When you are done with the visualization, move the object to your crown chakra and start cleansing each chakra by moving the egg or lemon in a circle to your left side, so it’s counterclockwise from your point of view but if someone were to look at you it would be clockwise from their point of view. Continue to move down each chakra until you reach the soles of your feet, cleanse them individually. When you are done, you can either bury the egg or lemon so that the Earth can transmute it or discard them in the trash can outside your home or apartment. You cannot leave the energy it absorbed in the trash inside your home, otherwise you just wasted your time, congratulations.

Two, the cleansing bath or shower.

For this ritual, all you need is honey. Again, if you are a vegan, replace the honey for cinnamon, however it will be quite tricky to shower with cinnamon powder, so instead of powdered cinnamon, try to find cinnamon soap in a botanica shop. Set your intentions, whether that is attracting more money, clients, success, and so on. This is not a releasing ritual, so do not focus on negativity. Remember, this ritual is to become a magnet, so you want to focus on the good stuff. If you are showering, do as you usually do when you shower but once you are done, lather yourself up with honey or with cinnamon soap. If you are taking a bath, make sure you showered first, proceed to mix 1 and ½ tablespoons of powdered cinnamon and a ½ cup of sea salt if you have some, but table salt is fine as well, and pour both into the bath water. Cinnamon is decongesting, it is also antiseptic and antiviral. Meditate on your intentions during your shower or bath. You can take as long as you want but 10 to 15 minutes is fine. This shower or bath is to help you become a magnet and attract abundance and success in different forms, not just financial. Work with what you’ve got, what matters here is the intention. Remember, our ancestors had little to nothing to work with.

Three, burning your intentions.

For this ritual, all you need is a piece of paper and pen or pencil, a sharpie is fine. Light a tealight candle and set your intentions. If you have some, light some money incense or all-purpose incense. Meditate on what your intentions for 2020 are. What you want to do, what you want to achieve, what you want to change, all of it and more. Get clear on everything. Once you are clear, write down your intentions, as detailed as possible. When you are done, fold the paper towards you, turn it clockwise from your point of view, fold again, then turn clockwise one third and final time, and fold again one last time. Remember, you are attracting, not pushing away. So you want to fold it towards you. Put the paper inside a cauldron or stainless steel steamer pot and burn the paper with your intentions. I don’t have a cauldron yet, so I use a steamer pot that I stole from my aunt. She was not happy.

And that’s it! Three super simple and super easy rituals that you can do on New Year’s Eve to welcome 2020 into your life! If you do any of these, share a picture on Instagram and tag me so I can see it!
